Make a donation to financially support the activities of the Chaire de recherche en soins palliatifs de l’Université Laval, whose primary objective is to promote teaching and research in the field of palliative care. The Chair contributes to the advancement of knowledge as well as to the improvement of training and professional development for healthcare professionals working with individuals in the palliative phase. It also aims to better understand end-of-life issues and to improve the quality of palliative care.
In recent years, the Chair has supported a research program on neuropathic pain in individuals with cancer, as well as numerous projects in psycho-oncology and palliative care. It has also contributed to the project to establish the Institut universitaire de soins palliatifs et de fin de vie de l’Université Laval.
In addition, the Chair offers a research training scholarship to support emerging researchers, intended for graduate students (Master’s and PhD levels) whose projects focus on palliative care, thereby helping to train the next generation of researchers in this essential field.
